انسجاماً واستجابةً للاحتياجات المجتمعية والريفية وتعزيز صمود المزارعين المهمشين ودعم سبل العيش وحماية أراضيهم وتحسين انتاجيتها، أعلنت الإغاثة الزراعية بالشراكة مع مؤسسة التعـــــاون، عن انتهاء المرحلة الثانية من تنفيذ برنامج "أشجار زيتون لأجل فلسطين" والذي تم تنفيذه بتمويل من مؤسسة التعاون. شمل البرنامج 13 بلدة وقرية فلسطينية في 5 محافظات في الضفة الغربية وهي ( نابلس ، رام الله ، طولكرم، جنين ، الخليل) واستفاد منه 316 مزارع وعائلة فلسطينية وذلك من خلال توريد وزراعة ما يقارب 12 ألف شتلة زيتون بلدي وزراعتها فيما يزيد عن ألف دونم من الأراضي في المناطق المهددة بما يسمى مناطق (ج).
من جانبه أكد مدير عام الإغاثة الزراعية الأستاذ منجد أبو جيش، بأن هذا البرنامج يأتي انسجاماً مع الخطة الاستراتيجية للإغاثة الزراعية، ضمن برنامج تطوير الأراضي وزيادة الرقعة الزراعية، من حيث المساحات المزروعة، وتحسين الإنتاجية، وتعزيز صمود المزارعين في أراضيهم، مقدماً شكره لمؤسسة التعاون على الشراكة والتعاون المستمر والدائم لمثل هذه المشاريع والحملات لزراعة الأشجار وخصوصاً انها جاءت في ظل أزمة وظروف اقتصادية صعبة يعيشها شعبنا، منوّهاً أن هناك توجه كبير من المواطنين والمزارعين للرجوع إلى الأرض وزراعتها.
يذكر أن هذا البرنامج ينسجم أيضاً مع استراتيجية الشركاء في مؤسسة التعاون ضمن برنامج التنمية المجتمعية وبنـاء اقتصـادات محليـة تحقـق تنميـة اقتصادية عادلـة ومسـتدامة للفلسـطينيين وتعـزز مـن قدرتهـم مـن الصمـود علـى أرضهـم من خلال العمل في قطاع الزراعة، لتصبح ذات إنتاجية أعلى ولتدرّ دخل على المزارعين وبالتالي تمكينهم اقتصادياً.

"Olive Trees for Palestine"
Has successfully completed the second phase of the "Olive Trees for Palestine" program. In response to community and rural needs, and to enhance the resilience of marginalized farmers, support livelihoods, protect their lands, and improve productivity, PARC, in collaboration with the Welfare Association, announced the conclusion of the second phase of the "Olive Trees for Palestine" program. The program, funded by the Cooperation Foundation, covered 13 Palestinian towns and villages in five governorates in the West Bank, including (Nablus, Ramallah, Tukaram, Jenin, and Hebron). A total of 316 Palestinian farmers and families benefited from the program, which involved the supply and planting of approximately 12,000 local olive seedlings on over a thousand dunums of land in areas threatened by what is known as Area (C).
Mr. Monjed Abu Jaish, the General Manager of PARC, affirmed that this program aligns with the strategic plan of PARC within the land development program to increase agricultural land area, improve productivity, and enhance the resilience of farmers in their lands. He expressed gratitude to the Cooperation Foundation for the ongoing partnership and continuous cooperation in such projects and campaigns for tree planting, especially amid the challenging economic conditions facing our people. He highlighted the significant trend of citizens and farmers returning to the land for cultivation.
It is noteworthy that this program also aligns with the strategy of partners in the Welfare Association as part of the community development and building local economies to achieve fair and sustainable economic development for Palestinians. This strategy aims to enhance their resilience on their land through engagement in the agricultural sector, making it more productive and generating income for farmers, thus enabling them economically.
